About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Instructor to join our team at Lake Ridge Solana Center in Moses Lake, WA. As a Nurse Instructor, you will play a vital role in inspiring and supporting future nursing assistants in their career journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, develop, and teach the certified nursing assistant training program.
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing assistant students.
  • Direct and assist in the development and implementation of nursing center orientation and mentoring for the nurse aide training program.
  • Round in all patient/resident care areas to ensure quality nursing assistant services are being rendered.

Requirements
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current registered nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
  • A minimum of two years full-time or equivalent clinical experience is required, with a minimum of one to two years of clinical experience in long-term care/geriatric nursing (State or Regulatory Agency requirements may vary).
  • Must complete a course that focuses on teaching adult students, have experience in teaching adult students or supervising nurse aides (State or Regulatory Agency requirements may vary).
  • Must maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification per State Specific Requirements.
