Job Summary:
Penn State Health is seeking a Registered Nurse Educator to provide education and assistance for patients who have or are at risk of developing diabetes. The successful candidate will educate diabetic patients about the disease and assist them in developing the skills they need to manage diabetes through behavior modification.
Responsibilities:
- Educate patients with diabetes on disease management and prevention
- Assist patients in developing skills to manage diabetes through behavior modification
- Collaborate with healthcare team to provide comprehensive care
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Two years of nursing experience
- Current licensure to practice as a registered nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact
