About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at GLOBAL Recruitment Solutions LLC. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks, including installation, repair, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and plant facilities.
The ideal candidate will have 4 years of experience in Allen Bradley, Hydraulics, Robotics, and Welding, and be proficient in troubleshooting die casting machine cells using PLCs and electrical and hydraulic schematics.
You will work closely with our team to ensure that all equipment is running efficiently and effectively, and identify areas for improvement. You will also be responsible for completing related machine repair records and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic and combustion malfunctions and operating difficulties.
- Install, move, and align new and existing equipment.
- Set up and operate various types of machine shop equipment with a moderate degree of accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform both gas and electric welding operations.
- Complete related machine repair records and maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition.
- Perform all necessary preventive and proactive tasks on plant equipment.
Requirements
- 4 years of related experience in Allen Bradley, Hydraulics, Robotics, and Welding.
- Must be able to apply principles acquired through technical or vocational subjects (certificates or some college courses).
- Strong understanding of ladder logic in SLC 500, PLC 5, and Control Logix software.
- Ability to navigate and interpret complex technical information.
Salary Information
$80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience.
