Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:
In a dynamic and patient-centered environment, the Staff Radiographer plays a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services. As a key member of the healthcare team, this professional is responsible for obtaining diagnostic radiographs, administering contrast media, and assisting licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized radiologic procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform radiographic exams utilizing the scope of practice for medical imaging as defined by professional organizations and in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Ensure patient safety and well-being throughout the imaging process.
- Provide patient transportation and ensure accurate documentation of patient care.
- Attend department meetings to stay informed about best practices and quality improvement initiatives.
- Administer contrast media as required for diagnostic procedures.
- Assume additional duties and responsibilities as necessary to support the team and achieve departmental goals.
Requirements:
- Current Radiologic licensure from the relevant state department of health or ARRT eligibility/registration.
- BLS certification is mandatory.
