Paratransit Cashier

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Paratransit Cashier to join our team at First Student Inc. As a Paratransit Cashier, you will be responsible for counting large volumes of cash, maintaining accurate records, and preparing reports.

• Count and reconcile cash transactions using a bill-counting machine.
• Manage and maintain accurate records of receipts and transactions.
• Prepare and submit reports to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
• Operate cash systems, computer, copier, and calculators with efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist with data entry and record-keeping for fixed route and para-transit services.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of experience in data entry and/or clerical work, with a focus on accounting and detailed reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays.

This role requires the ability to move about the office, utilize standard office equipment, and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
