Overview

The Mechanical Engineer PE II applies standard engineering techniques to design, analyze, test, maintain, repair, or improve products, components, or assemblies.

Responsibilities
  • Signs and seals engineering documents.
  • Analyzes, develops, and evaluates systems.
  • Improves and maintains current systems or creates new projects.
  • Designs and drafts blueprints, visits systems in the field, and manages projects.
  • Applies engineering techniques and analyses within the scope of the assignment.
  • Handles complex issues with high latitude.
  • Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to subordinate groups.
Qualifications

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and Professional Engineer (PE) License. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience and possess expert knowledge of the subject matter.

Critical thinking, problem-solving, math, computer skills, technical expertise, effective communication, and attention to detail are essential qualities for this role.

Travel Requirements

This position involves traveling 5-10% of the time to job sites/office locations.

Physical work environment requirements include ascending/descending ladders, climbing stairs, moving in tight spaces, repeating motions, operating machinery, and exposure to outdoor elements.

The pay range is USD $100,600.00 - USD $134,300.00 per hour.
