Job Summary
We are seeking a Full Time Primary Care Physician to join our team in Elko, NV. As a Primary Care Physician, you will provide direct medical care to client company employees, including episodic, preventive, and acute health care. You will also conduct histories and physical examinations, prescribe medications and/or medical treatments, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct medical care to client company employees, including episodic, preventive, and acute health care.
- Conduct histories and physical examinations, prescribe medications and/or medical treatments, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with patients.
- Provide referrals both internally and externally to appropriate medical resources or specialties.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of medical care and monitor progress of patients.
- Participate in the development of annual health center goals and objectives.
- Maintain medical records using electronic medical record software.
- Formulate and administer health programs as needed.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited medical school.
- At least three years of post-residency clinical experience.
- Experience in a primary care, urgent care, or emergency room setting.
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state within which the site is located.
- Board Certified in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Primary Care, or Emergency Medicine by the AOA or ABMS, or Board Eligible in aforementioned practice areas.
- Current state and federal DEA certification.
- Current Certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for healthcare providers.
- Medical Review Officer (MRO) Certification may be required for some positions.
- Knowledge of Internet software, Spreadsheet, and Word Processing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations.
