At Shawnee Colonial Estates, we strive to deliver exceptional care services that cater to the unique needs of our residents. As a leader in the field, we are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Supervisor.
Job Summary
The Nurse Supervisor is responsible for supervising, providing, and coordinating nursing care in compliance with facility policies and procedures. This includes assessing residents' care needs and taking appropriate action to meet those needs. As a Nurse Supervisor, you will be committed to person-centered care by embracing and following our goal of person-centered care. You will demonstrate and support individual resident choice and controlled resident-preferred routines in all aspects of daily living.
Responsibilities
• Supervise, provide, and coordinate nursing care in compliance with facility policies and procedures
• Develop and implement care plans that promote individual resident choice and controlled resident-preferred routines
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery
• Comprehend applicable Federal, State, and local regulations and facility policies, procedures, and programs
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a current nursing license in good standing. Supervisory experience is preferred, but not required. You should be able to read and write, speak and understand English. Effective documentation and oral communication skills are essential.
