Job Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant plays a vital role in creating a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment by providing direct and indirect care to our residents. This position requires a strong partnership with our care providers to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility, and hygiene.
  • Assist with medical procedures, such as wound care and IV therapy.
  • Participate in geriatric assessments and management to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Maine State Board-approved CNA course.
  • Valid certification on the State of Maine CNA registry.
  • 1-3 years of previous CNA experience preferred, but new CNAs with relevant work experience will be considered.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to work well within a team of other care providers.
  • Flexibility to cover 24 hours/day, 7 days per week, and float to other units as needed.
