Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a small caseload of high-risk families with children, providing individualized support and guidance to ensure their well-being.
- Facilitate weekly mental health and substance abuse workshops, as well as onsite support groups for clients, promoting a safe and supportive environment for sharing and growth.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of community resources, making informed referrals to government agencies and other service providers to ensure seamless support for clients.
- Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments, identifying clients' strengths, weaknesses, and needs to develop effective treatment plans.
- Work from a strength-based, client-centered perspective to provide psychosocial treatment to diverse individuals, addressing their unique challenges and promoting empowerment.
- Collaborate with other staff members to provide consultation services, sharing expertise and best practices to enhance client care.
- Utilize computer software applications to manage data, track progress, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services as needed, responding to emergency situations with compassion and expertise.
- Maintain accurate records, submitting reports in a timely manner to ensure compliance and transparency.
Requirements:
We are seeking an LMSW with a master's degree in social work from a CSWE-accredited program, with at least two years of experience in specialized social work practice.
