Job Summary:
This 13-week contract position requires a skilled RN to work 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, providing exceptional patient care in a dynamic PICU environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU setting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient plans
- Conduct thorough assessments, monitor vital signs, and administer medications as prescribed
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and interventions
Requirements:
- Current CA RN license
- 2+ years of experience in PICU or similar critical care setting
- BLS and PALS certification
- EPIC charting experience
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
