- Assist in special projects, such as in-store promotions and product demonstrations, to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets and improve overall store performance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company standards for sanitation and food safety.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, including receiving and processing merchandise, and assisting with inventory management.
- Effective communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally, with the ability to stand for long periods of time.
- High school diploma or equivalent required, with prior experience in sales or customer service preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Experience in the meat or seafood industry, with knowledge of cooking procedures and product preparation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system.
- Ability to maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency, with a focus on meeting sales targets and improving customer satisfaction.
Hannaford Supermarkets offers a competitive salary range of $23.50 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
