Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Toddler Lead Teacher to join our team at Guidepost Montessori. As a Toddler Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging environment that fosters the cognitive, social, and emotional development of our young students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a curriculum that aligns with Montessori principles and promotes hands-on learning and exploration.
  • Establish a positive and respectful relationship with each child, encouraging independence and self-confidence.
  • Prepare and maintain a safe and organized learning environment that meets the needs of all students.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements:

  • Early Childhood Education degree or equivalent experience.
  • Montessori certification or willingness to pursue.
  • Experience working with toddlers in a group setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
