Qualifications

  • Valid State of Vermont Nursing Assistant License
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver's License and Current Auto Insurance
  • Open to both experienced and newly graduated CNAs
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Availability for weekend and holiday shifts

Key Responsibilities

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your duties will include:

  • Receiving daily patient assignments under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or licensed Therapist
  • Collecting and reporting patient and family data to the RN or licensed Therapist
  • Facilitating communication with assigned patients
  • Performing interventions and procedures as directed to ensure quality patient care
  • Advocating for patient care issues to meet the unique needs of each patient and family
  • Assisting with activities of daily living, vital signs collection, and mobility exercises
  • Serving as a Hospice Aide and Personal Care Attendant as needed
  • Reporting changes in patient conditions promptly
