We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Medical Assistant to join our team at Union Hospital (Indiana). The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our healthcare team to provide patient-centered care, while also contributing to the development and implementation of department goals and policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with physicians and managers to determine patient needs and develop care plans
  • Conduct routine physical assessments and contribute to patient care plans
  • Respect patients' rights and maintain confidentiality
  • Assist with patient education and promote self-care and independence
  • Follow company policies and procedures, as well as department protocols
  • Assist physicians with special procedures

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited program for Certified Medical Assistants, Registered Medical Assistants or Certified Clinical Medical Assistants
  • Must have CMA, RMA or CCMA certificate
  • Previous CMA experience preferred
  • Graduate from a one-year Practical Nursing Program
  • Previous LPN experience preferred

Requirements:

  • BLS certification
  • CMA/RMA/CCMA certification (CMA Applicant)
  • Indiana LPN license
