Estimated Salary Range:$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job DescriptionThe Director of the Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of the program. This includes coordinating accreditation efforts, developing and implementing curriculum, recruiting and evaluating faculty, managing budgets, and providing mentorship and support to program staff.
As a senior-level academic administrator, you will be expected to provide leadership, vision, and strategic direction for the OTD Program. You will also be responsible for serving as the liaison with Evidence in Motion (EIM), with whom the College is partnering in the delivery of the OTD program.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Earned doctorate in a discipline appropriate for teaching responsibilities from a regionally accredited institution.
- Senior-level academic experience consistent with program expectations.
- A minimum of 8 years of full-time documented experience in the field of Occupational Therapy, including a minimum of three years of full-time experience as a core faculty member in an ACOTE-accredited entry-level Occupational Therapy education program.
- Administrative experience, preferably in a higher education setting.
- Understanding of higher education and contemporary clinical practice relevant to leadership in Occupational Therapy education.
- Knowledge of legislative, regulatory, legal, and practice issues affecting clinical education, students, and the profession of Occupational Therapy.
- Occupational therapist with an active, unrestricted license in Georgia or state of residence.
- Active participation in professional activities at local, state, and/or national levels.
