**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to join our Aquaculture Research team at ADM. The successful candidate will assist with research trials, maintain recirculating aquaculture systems, and perform laboratory analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with research trials and maintain recirculating aquaculture systems
  • Perform laboratory analysis, including water quality testing and tissue analysis
  • Feed and provide general husbandry to fish and shrimp
  • Collect and organize data for analysis or presentation
  • Monitor inventory of critical supplies for operation of the aquaculture lab
  • Set up, calibrate, and maintain aquaculture lab equipment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as animal nutrition, biology, aquaculture, or microbiology
  • Previous experience in aquaculture or a related field is preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and function on a diverse team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
