About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Accountant to join our team at Masonite International. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, as well as providing financial planning and analysis support to our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Accounting and Reporting
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for our manufacturing facilities, including cost of production, input and output costs, and fixed asset management.
    • Collaborate with local plant management teams and corporate accounting to ensure sound financial controls and robust financial understanding.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Lead the preparation of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and quarterly financial forecasts for our manufacturing facilities.
    • Provide financial analysis and support to our manufacturing teams to identify and address areas of inefficiency and waste.
  • Tax and Audit Support
    • Prepare and support tax and audit requests, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
  • General Ledger Management
    • Manage multiple general ledger systems for our locations, ensuring accurate and timely financial data.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • Experience
    • Minimum three years of general accounting or financial analysis experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
    • Experience with corporate accounting and/or public accounting is a plus.
  • Certifications/Designations
    • Active CPA license preferred.
