Key Responsibilities

• Accurately calculate customer bills using the dealership's computer system

• Process cash, checks, and credit card transactions from customers, documenting amounts received on the repair order or counter ticket

• Provide accurate change and issue receipts to customers

• Answer incoming calls and direct customers to the appropriate department, ensuring timely follow-up

• Address customer complaints with professionalism and refer them to the right personnel for resolution

• Operate the switchboard telephone system

• Communicate with callers in a courteous, friendly, and efficient manner, striving to minimize hold times

• Assist management with various clerical tasks as required

• Maintain a friendly, professional, and efficient demeanor when interacting with customers and team members

• Familiarize yourself with departmental structures and internal processes to assist customers effectively

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is advantageous

• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

• Ability to articulate customer interests, needs, and requests to management and sales teams

• Professional appearance and demeanor

• Clean driving record
