Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Mixer Truck Driver to join our team at Heidelberg Materials US, Inc. in the Finger Lakes Region of New York.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver ready mix concrete to customers in a timely and safe manner
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle
  • Perform minor roadside repairs and inspect the mix, slump, and load size
  • Provide excellent customer service and work closely with dispatch to ensure efficient routes
  • Assemble and operate concrete chutes during pours
  • Adhere to safety regulations and protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment and attending safety meetings
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License Class A or B
  • Proficient reading, writing, and math skills
  • Minimum one year of experience operating a commercial vehicle with a multi-speed transmission
  • Good driving record and valid medical card
  • Concrete knowledge and experience preferred, as well as mechanical background or skills
  • Ability to work six days a week, with occasional Sunday work, and drive up to 11 hours per day
