Teach Psychology Courses at D'Youville University

We are seeking qualified candidates to teach courses on-campus and/or online in our Psychology program. As an adjunct instructor, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise and passion for psychology with our students.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach assigned courses in accordance with established learning outcomes.
  • Develop and implement course assignments and deliver learning activities that permit measurement of student learning outcomes.
  • Foster an inclusive and collaborative course environment.
  • Report progress updates and final grades for students.
  • Provide access to and timely response to students via in-person, videoconference, or telephone.
  • Uphold the mission and vision of D'Youville University.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree or higher in psychology or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Previous experience with teaching in higher education is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to utilize various software programs, including the institution's Learning Management System (Canvas), related to the delivery of online course content.
