AmeriWound is a leading provider of wound care services, seeking a skilled Wound Care Physician and Advanced Practice Provider to join our team. As a wound care specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and facilities, providing individualized care and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Provide wound care services to patients in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and long-term care and rehabilitation hospitals.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patient wounds, as well as monitor and heal wounds.
- Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records.
- Communicate with facility staff and patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals.
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities as necessary.
Requirements
- MD, DO, PA, CRNP degree.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible.
- Active, unrestricted state medical license.
- DEA license.
- Valid driver license.
- Ability to build and maintain rapport with facility staff and patients.
Compensation
Projected compensation $18,000-$20,000+ monthly for full-time. Monthly compensation is variable per provider per territory, directly dependent on provider's availability, patient volume and documentation for reimbursement.
