Responsibilities
As an emergency department nurse at Emory Healthcare, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality patient care and developing individualized plans of care.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A graduate degree in nursing from an accredited program.
- At least 1 year of experience in emergency department nursing.
- A valid, active unencumbered nursing license in the state of Georgia.
- BLS certification and ACLS may be required in designated departments.
Physical and Environmental Demands
This role requires occasional to frequent standing and walking, as well as the ability to lift up to 35 pounds. You'll also be exposed to bio-hazardous waste, chemicals, and other environmental factors. However, we provide personal protective equipment to ensure your safety and well-being.
