We are seeking a highly skilled Crane Operator to join our team at Wayne Brothers Companies. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating a crane on commercial and industrial concrete projects.
Key Responsibilities- Crane Operation: Safely operate a crane to hoist formwork, concrete, rebar, and other materials on a commercial/industrial concrete project.
- Daily Inspection: Conduct daily inspections of the crane's condition and complete safety checklists to ensure a safe working environment.
- Equipment Setup: Participate in the erection, dismantling, and setup of the crane.
- Load Calculation: Assist in calculating load weights and generating critical lift plans.
- Workplace Safety: Perform all assigned roles, responsibilities, and related work processes/tasks in the safest possible manner, ensuring a safe and accident-free work environment for all coworkers, customers, clients, suppliers, etc.
- Heavy Equipment Operation: Operate other types of heavy equipment when the crane is down or not needed for a period of time.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in commercial/industrial projects crane operation.
- Certifications: NCCCO Certified Crane Operator License.
- Physical Demands: Capable of lifting 90 pounds repetitively.
