Lab Researcher

Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions is seeking a skilled intern to join our team in Tomball, TX. The role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in laboratory research and contribute to the development of high-throughput antifoulant testing methods.

This is a full-time, 12-week internship with an estimated salary range of $25-$30 per hour, based on national averages for similar positions in the Houston area. As a Lab Intern, you will work closely with our lab team to validate test methods using control samples, screen antifoulant chemicals and catalysts, and develop quantitative property-performance correlations.

• Contribute to developing high-throughput antifoulant testing methods
• Validate test methods using control samples
• Screen a variety of antifoulant chemicals and catalysts under different test conditions and dosage levels
• Develop quantitative property-performance correlations
• Document and write formal methods

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with a focus in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or equivalent
• Familiarity with basic wet chemistry and analytical techniques
• Ability to work independently in a lab environment with other team members
• Self-motivated and a team player
• Demonstrated dedication to lab safety
• Effective problem-solving skills
• An accomplished communicator, able to produce quality technical reports and documents
