Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team at Royston Plant. As a critical member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating brake presses to bend and form metal parts according to engineering specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate 8', 10', and 12' Trumpf and Primeline brake presses.
  • Inspect and assess parts to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Adjust machine settings as needed to troubleshoot issues.
  • Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions.
  • Maintain tolerances determined by part specifications.
  • Perform material handling functions, including loading materials for job runs using a forklift.
  • Use the NAV operating system to scan completed jobs and apply labels.

Requirements:

  • High School Degree or GED.
  • Knowledge of brake press capabilities and functions.
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Possess mechanical skills; Machining skills also appreciated.

Estimated Salary:$60,000 - $80,000 per year based on experience.
