Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Instruction: Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech and language skills, and develop individualized instruction plans to address their needs.
  • Consultation and Collaboration: Work closely with parents and teachers to identify and address communication barriers, and provide guidance on effective communication strategies.
  • Program Development: Assist in the development and implementation of speech and language programs for students with disabilities.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress, including assessment results and instruction plans.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in speech and language pathology, and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree: A Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field is required.
  • Certification: Certification in Speech Language Pathology is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with speech and language disorders is required.
