What You'll Do as a Home Health Aide
  • Provide Personal Care: Assist seniors with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support Activities of Daily Living: Help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
  • Assist with Mobility: Help clients with ambulation, transferring, and range of motion exercises.
  • Document Client Progress: Record client condition and notify supervisors of any concerns.
  • Ensure a Safe Environment: Ensure clients' homes are safe and free from hazards.
Requirements
  • Experience: 6 months of prior adult caregiving experience or completion of a CNA course/certificate.
