Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Cooper Cape Regional Health System. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for exams and procedures
  • Take vital signs, perform EKGs, and reconcile medications
  • Assist providers with minor surgical procedures and prepare medications for injections
  • Manage phone messages, faxes, and medical reception responsibilities
  • Knowledge of medical insurance terminology and computer skills for scheduling
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of one year's experience as a medical assistant or nursing assistant in a hospital or clinic setting required
  • Ability to handle high volume of interactions with frequent interruptions required
