Lean Digitalization Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Lean Digitalization Expert to join our team at Siemens Energy in Tampa. This is a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency, elevating product quality, and spearheading innovative practices.

• Guide and mentor teams through comprehensive analyses and Lean Six Sigma techniques to optimize processes, minimize waste, and improve operational performance.
• Employ Lean principles to improve critical operational metrics such as cycle time, throughput, and quality.
• Implement standardization, visual management, and error-proofing methods to achieve excellence.
• Be a driving force for the implementation of strategic digitalization goals, supporting the development and management of IT/OT solutions.
• Work closely with engineering, production, quality, and supply chain teams to streamline processes and enhance operational excellence.
• Lead the cultural shift towards innovation and change, applying effective change management tools to engage and align all organizational levels with Lean transformation goals.
• Establish and maintain effective KPIs and metrics that reflect Lean and Six Sigma principles to track improvements and assess initiative success.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing in the Power Generation or a related industry, with a substantial track record in leading and supporting Lean projects.
• In-depth knowledge of Lean tools (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kanban, TPM) and Six Sigma techniques (statistical analysis, experimental design, control charts).
• Affinity and first experience with IoT tools (AWS, Grafana) and programming languages desirable (Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI) as well as automation projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating and influencing at all organizational levels.
