Position Overview

The Department of Surgery at Loyola University Health System is seeking a highly skilled Board Certified/Board Eligible Plastic Reconstructive Surgeon to join our team as an Assistant or Associate Professor. The ideal candidate will have expertise in microsurgery with a focus on breast, lower extremity, and lymphedema reconstruction.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the Division of Plastic Surgery at Loyola University Medical Center, with opportunities to attend Gottlieb Memorial Hospital and the Hines VA Hospital.

• Collaborate with a growing faculty in a dynamic working environment, with opportunities for clinical research and academic pursuits.

• Develop and implement microsurgical fellowship programs, with a focus on breast, lower extremity, and lymphedema reconstruction.

Qualifications

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Plastic Surgery.

• Strong background in microsurgery, with expertise in breast, lower extremity, and lymphedema reconstruction.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and colleagues.
