Job Summary:

Voca is seeking an experienced Mobile Radiologic Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in the Midwest.

About the Role:

This position involves working as a radiologic technologist on a mobile unit, providing imaging services to patients in various healthcare settings. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining medical equipment, developing x-ray images, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, including CT scanners, X-ray machines, and fluoroscopy units
  • Develop and process x-ray images to achieve high-quality diagnostic results
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and make informed treatment decisions
  • Provide excellent patient care, ensuring comfort and safety during imaging procedures
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements and industry standards

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as a radiologic technologist, preferably in a mobile or per-diem setting
  • Valid state licensure and/or certification in radiologic technology
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification and willingness to obtain additional certifications as required
