Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients, including administering medications, preparing patient care plans, and performing thorough bedside daily rounds.
- Work alongside seasoned nurses who are eager to educate and coach new graduates.
- Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
- Initiate and/or maintain interventions to ensure continuity of safe and effective care for patients.
- Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) must be presented upon hire.
- Additional certifications may be required based on the specific unit and patient population.
