CT Imaging Specialist

The CT Technologist at UCHealth plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care through effective communication and teamwork.
This dynamic position requires proficiency in operating imaging equipment, administering contrast media, and monitoring patient conditions to achieve optimal outcomes.
About the RoleIn this key role, you will perform computed tomography imaging and ensure seamless coordination with other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
You will be responsible for initiating Computed Tomography images based on physician orders, prioritizing procedural patient education to ensure mutual understanding and cooperation, and safely administering contrast media or associated imaging medications while monitoring patient condition.
A strong focus on quality control and equipment functionality is also essential in this role, as you will implement techniques to yield clarity in image, quality control, and equipment functionality based on established best practices in Radiology (ARRT).
Additionally, you may perform 3-D post processing while entering, transmitting, and reporting scan results.

Requirements- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registered, and/or registry eligible with completion of registry in 12 months in computed tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). State licensure if required by law.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer.

Salary InformationThe estimated annual salary for this role ranges from $73,579 to $110,759, depending on experience.
