The dispatcher serves as the primary liaison for clients, managing the entire order process from initiation to fulfillment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate truck load bookings
  • Monitor shipments to fulfill customer expectations
  • Provide system updates for shipment visibility
  • Offer customer support
  • Assist with various projects as needed
  • Collaborate with the Transportation Manager and local management
  • Oversee daily delivery schedules for drivers
  • Manage monthly driver schedules
  • Review driver time sheets
  • Track Hours of Service (HOS) and electronic logs for drivers
  • Understand and apply DOT regulations
  • Facilitate training for new drivers
  • Advise management on disciplinary actions
  • Evaluate driver performance
  • Ensure accuracy of deliveries

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel) and Google Drive
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Capability to analyze issues, gather data, and implement solutions
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with various management systems
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Availability to work nights and weekends
