Information Network Associates, Inc. (INA) is actively seeking skilled and dedicated Armed Security Officers to enhance our security operations within educational settings. This pivotal role is essential for safeguarding the well-being of school personnel, students, and property. The position is classified as safety-sensitive and is critical for delivering exceptional security services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Surveillance and Patrol: Execute comprehensive patrols of educational facilities, surrounding areas, and parking zones to deter unauthorized access, vandalism, and potential threats.
  • Policy Implementation: Assist in enforcing school district regulations and procedures while complying with site-specific Standard Operating Procedures and INA's internal policies.
  • Threat Mitigation: Establish security protocols to guard against sabotage, terrorism, subversion, and other hostile actions.
  • Access Management: Oversee entry and exit points to secure designated areas effectively.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Uphold standards of conduct and ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Incident Management: Apprehend or detain individuals within the scope of authority, following legal protocols.
  • Emergency Response: React swiftly to emergencies in accordance with established site-specific procedures.
  • Legal Representation: Provide testimony in legal proceedings, hearings, or appeals as required.

Qualifications Required

  • Education: High School diploma or GED is mandatory; a college degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of experience in law enforcement is essential.
  • Certifications:
    • Current PA Act 235 certification with firearms.
    • Current PA Concealed Carry Permit.
    • Completion of the NASRO SRO basic course, or the ability to obtain it prior to assignment.
  • Licenses: Valid driver's license with dependable transportation.
  • Background Verification: Must successfully pass INA's pre-employment background check, including drug screening and criminal history assessment.
  • Physical Capabilities:
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.
    • Physical ability to walk, run, and navigate over uneven surfaces.
    • Capability to lift items weighing over 30 pounds.
