Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Eaton's EPG CPD PCD Power Components Division is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This role will be based at our Horseheads, NY facility and offers relocation assistance.

Job Summary:

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for improving the performance metrics of assigned departments. This will involve developing and implementing process improvements, designing and implementing new equipment and/or advanced manufacturing processes, and specifying, identifying, and successfully installing capital equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement process improvements to achieve measurable performance metrics.
  • Design, develop, and implement new equipment and/or advanced manufacturing processes.
  • Specify, identify, and successfully install capital equipment.
  • Provide technical leadership and coordination for assigned engineering projects or programs.
  • Collaborate with other divisions participating in research and development programs of mutual interest and benefit.
  • Exert leadership in technical societies and their activities.
  • Support all EHS functions, including MESH and ISO14001.
  • Support deployment of the Eaton Quality System and Eaton Lean Six Sigma.
  • Address unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and hazards in your respective work area(s) and evaluate the ensuing corrections.
  • Represent Eaton on product litigation.
  • Support cost-out/productivity initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 5 years of engineering experience.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
