Position Overview

Role Responsibilities

As an Engineering Program Manager, you will collaborate with software engineers and managers within the Core Services Engineering team. Your primary focus will be to define, schedule, and monitor the progress of the team's projects, as well as manage numerous cross-functional initiatives. The role demands a fast-paced approach, handling multiple concurrent projects with frequently shifting priorities.

Key Duties Include:

  • Acting as the central coordinator among various teams across Apple Services to drive innovative technology solutions.
  • Leading strategic initiatives aimed at modernizing platforms and technologies to enhance customer experiences.
  • Engaging deeply with the programs and projects to support the engineers effectively.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience as a technical software Project or Program Manager, particularly with complex server/client interactions.
  • Proven experience in developing new platform capabilities and facilitating overall integration and adoption.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in driving strategic roadmap planning and communication.
  • Strong understanding of managing intricate, multi-functional software projects.
  • Ability to discuss in detail the workings of full-stack platforms and technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, adaptable to various audiences.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Previous engineering experience is advantageous.
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
