Pharmacy Technician

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service. You will work closely with our pharmacists to assist with various tasks, including filling prescriptions, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists with filling prescriptions, counting and measuring medications, and verifying patient information.
• Process transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain accurate records.
• Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• PTCB certification a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
