Room Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team at Best Western Hotels & Resorts. As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and public areas, providing exceptional service to our guests, and contributing to the overall success of our hotel.

• Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and prepare guest rooms and public areas to meet established standards of cleanliness and propriety.
• Room Preparation: Set up cleaning carts with supplies, maintain carts and storerooms in a clean and orderly fashion, and restock room amenities.
• Sanitation and Hygiene: Clean and sanitize all surfaces, fixtures, and equipment in guest rooms and public areas, including windows, doors, walls, closets, and restrooms.
• Guest Service: Provide exceptional service to guests, respond to their needs and concerns, and maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff to ensure the efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas.

• Basic Knowledge: Basic knowledge of general cleaning principles, use of cleaning products, and operation of standard cleaning equipment.
• Physical Abilities: Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extend arms over head, bend, and stoop to perform cleaning tasks, push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs, and lift a maximum of 50 lbs.
• Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with guests and associates.
• Schedule: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
