Join Remedy Intelligent Staffing as an Industrial Maintenance Specialist

Compensation:
$30.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 6:00/7:00 AM to 2:30/3:30 PM.

*On-call duties every fifth weekend and one holiday per year.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshooting & Repair: Address and resolve issues with various machinery including filling machines, labeling systems, capping devices, dry heat ovens, turntables, coolers, tanks, air handlers, chiller pumps, and air compressors.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance on all equipment and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
  • Electrical Work: Install and repair electrical systems including conduits, controls, wiring, motors, and switches.
  • Plant Systems Operation: Manage and operate the facility's heating and cooling systems.
  • Welding Skills: Perform basic stainless-steel welding tasks.

Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in an industrial mechanic role.
  • Possession or ability to obtain an EPA Universal Certification.
  • Capability to secure an Engineering License within the first year of employment.
  • Basic knowledge and experience in HVAC, particularly in refrigeration.
  • Understanding of boiler systems or willingness to learn (including performing boiler cleanouts).
  • Experience with water filtration systems or eagerness to learn.
  • Proficient in basic MS Office Suite applications.
