Job Summary
BrightStar Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a caregiver in a facility setting. As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Responsibilities
- Provide various personal care services, including assistance with daily tasks, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
- Assist clients with active and passive mobility work, as defined by the plan of care, and document observed changes to the Director of Nursing
- Support clients with transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping
Requirements
- Minimum one (1) year of documented caregiver or home care assistance experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work weekends
- Certified CPR
- Physical and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Licensed driver with insurance and reliable automobile with proof of insurance
- Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull, with varied assistance depending on the mobility of the client
