We are seeking a skilled and dedicated ER Nurse to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As an ER Travel Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced urgent care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide basic bedside care to patients.
- Clean and bandage wounds as needed.
- Administer IV therapy to patients.
- Maintain supplies and medical equipment in the emergency room.
- Report any suspected abuse to the appropriate authorities.
Requirements:
BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications are required for this position. Additionally, 2 years of experience in acute care is preferred. As an ER Travel Nurse, you must be able to stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 20 pounds easily, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds when moving or lifting patients. Good stress coping skills and the ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds are essential for success in this role.
