We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team at ROE #9 Champaign-Ford County School Districts. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings and grounds.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of equipment and fixtures
- Conduct inspections and troubleshoot issues with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Operate and maintain grounds service equipment, including mowers and tractors
- Assist with custodial duties, including cleaning and sanitizing facilities
- Respond to after-hours calls and work overtime as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent, or compensating experience
- Valid Illinois Class C driver's license
- Ability to lift objects in excess of 50 pounds
- Basic computer skills and ability to use standard hand and power tools
- General familiarity with building systems and equipment
