Job Description

As a CNC Mill Machine Operator at Gordon Aluminum Industries INC, you will play a vital role in ensuring the production of high-quality metal products while meeting company standards and policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mount work pieces onto production equipment and operate computer-controlled milling machines to produce metal parts.
  • Inspect finished products for accuracy and uniformity, identifying any non-conforming materials or defects.
  • Measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
  • Clean machines, tooling, and parts, following all safety protocols and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Mathematical skills to perform basic arithmetic operations and recognize similarities and differences between words and numbers.
  • Language skills to read and write simple sentences and understand standard workplace instructions.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and deal with standardized situations.

Working Conditions

  • Frequent exposure to work near moving mechanical parts and humid conditions.
  • Loud noise levels, requiring hearing protection.
  • Employee is expected to wear personal protective equipment on the production floor.
