Job Summary:
iCompete Experience is seeking a skilled Mixologist to join our team. As a Mixologist, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional customer experience by providing top-notch beverage service and ensuring that our guests feel welcome and appreciated.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming Guests: Greet each guest personally, using enthusiastic words, tone, and body language at all times.
- Providing Beverage Service: Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for guests of the bar and dining room, following standard recipes.
- Managing Drink Orders: Input drink orders into the computer immediately, collect money from guests for drinks served, and make change.
- Maintaining a Clean Environment: Arrange and clean bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display, wash and sterilize stemware, and count drinks guests are served and track open bar tabs.
- Anticipating Guest Needs: Anticipate guests' needs and follow the half-full rule when offering another drink; remain alert of guests' signals and acknowledge them so they know you will be right with them.
- Building Relationships: Learn guests' names, occupations, and favorite drinks, and responsibly serve alcohol while remaining aware of guests' state of intoxication.
Requirements:
- Age and Certification: Be of legal age to serve alcohol and possess TABC Certification.
- Mathematical Skills: Possess basic mathematical skills and the ability to handle money and give correct change.
- Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with others.
- Physical Demands: Be able to walk, stand, or remain stationary during the entire shift, and continuously reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop, and wipe with the potential for slipping or tripping.
