Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Airport Firefighter EMT to join our team at the Orlando Executive Airport. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will be responsible for providing firefighting and emergency medical services to airport patrons and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide firefighting and rescue services as needed.
  • Operate and maintain fire department equipment, apparatus, and station facilities.
  • Participate in training and drills to ensure readiness for emergency situations.
  • Collaborate with other emergency responders to provide a unified response to emergencies.
  • Perform routine duties in the care and maintenance of fire department property and equipment.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • NIMS 100, 200, 700, and 800 certifications.
  • NFPA 1001 Firefighter II certification (or ability to obtain reciprocity).
  • NFPA 472, Hazardous Materials-Operations certification (or ability to obtain reciprocity).
  • NFPA 1003 Airport Firefighter certification (or IFSAC) or completion of an FAA 40-hour approved course with current annual burn.
  • Florida EMT certification at time of hire and maintenance throughout employment.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Pass company background and criminal history records check.
