$35 to $45 per hour based on experience

Role Responsibilities:
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse is tasked with ensuring the delivery of safe and effective patient care through the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

This role involves providing direct patient care within the defined scope of practice. The Registered Nurse will also lead and guide patient and family education, as well as oversee the activities of other nursing staff, all while upholding the standards of professional nursing care in the Emergency Department.

The Registered Nurse is accountable for the care provided to patients in the Emergency Department and must effectively communicate with physicians regarding any changes in a patient's clinical status, including diagnostic results and symptoms.

Quick and accurate responses to changes in patient conditions or treatment responses are essential. Knowledge of EMTALA regulations and the reporting of abuse to the appropriate authorities is required. Maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality is paramount.


Qualifications:
  • Valid state RN License
  • BLS Certification
  • ACLS Certification
  • PALS Certification
  • NIHSS or Stroke Certification preferred
  • COVID vaccination/boosters preferred
  • EDAP 1 and 2 training
  • BVP (MAB) training

Work Environment:
The position requires working in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting.

Technology:
Familiarity with Meditech is preferred.
