About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CICU) at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center.

This is a 0.9 FTE Night shift position, offering a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in the CICU, utilizing evidence-based practices and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiovascular care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify potential complications, and take proactive steps to prevent and manage them.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote excellence in patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course within 90 days of hire.
  • 1 year of Nursing experience.
