Strong service orientation with a solid understanding of customer service principles.
Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively share information and ideas.
Ability to comprehend and follow instructions regarding cleaning agents.
Proficient in the safe and effective use of cleaning tools and chemicals.
*Availability for weekends, evenings, and holidays is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive room assignments from the Supervisor at the start of each shift.
Ensure your cleaning cart is fully stocked and ready for use.
Familiarize yourself with the proper protocol for entering guest rooms.
Position your cart appropriately when entering a room to maintain efficiency.
Adhere to a systematic approach for cleaning both occupied and vacant rooms to ensure thoroughness.
Inspect rooms for any damages to furniture or equipment.
Immediately report any damages or missing items to your Supervisor.
Return any found items to Lost and Found, documenting the date, location, and finder’s name.
Conduct a final inspection of the room before departure.
Notify the housekeeping department of room status upon completion of cleaning.
At the end of your shift, restock your cart and dispose of any trash or soiled linens.
Address guest inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
Report any suspicious activities or hazardous conditions to the Safety/Security Department.
Offer guidance for guest and employee safety during emergencies.
Perform additional tasks as directed by your Supervisor.
